Hello, my name is Shimul. I am a 10 year old boy in grade 3. I do above average at school and am a good student. My favourite subject is Religion.
I like gardening as a hobby. When I grow up, I want to be a police officer.
My Family
I am not an orphan and currently in good health. My father, mother, sister and I live in a brick & tin sheet house. Both of my parents can read and write.
My father Shamol is a rickshaw puller. My mother Lipi is a homemaker. They make about $71.50 CAD per month for us to live off of. The average salary in Bangladesh for a worker is around $311.10 CAD per month.
Everyone in my local village is poor.
