Hello, my name is Lija. I am a 6 year old girl in kindergarten. My favourite subject is Bangla.
I like playing. When I grow up, I want to be a police officer.
My Family
I am not an orphan and currently in good health. My father, mother, sister and I live in a straw hut. My mother can read and write, but my father cannot.
My father Milon is a farmer working out in crop fields all day, he doesn’t have any cultivating fields of his own. My mother is a homemaker taking care of the house and my family. They make about $71.50 CAD per month for us to live off of. The average salary in Bangladesh for a worker is around $311.10 CAD per month.
Everyone in my local village is poor. My family is currently struggling to make ends meet.
